Overview
Marine Geological Sampling Equipment consists of four major components: Piston Corer, Box Corer, Grab Sampler, Dredger.
Piston Corer
Piston corer collects marine geological samples. Piston Corer is operated on the side working deck by using special handling equipment called a corer bucket, corer davit. The head of the piston corer is locked up by the corer bucket. One(1) set of piston corer which is capable of taking undisturbed sediment shall be provided as follows.
