Why HSE?

Our main focus in health, safety and environment is on three different purposes:

  • The maintenance and promotion of workers’ health and working capacity.
  • The improvement of working environment
  • Development of work organizations and working cultures.

There are three reasons occupational safety and health is a concern:

  • Duty of reasonable care
  • Unacceptability of putting health and safety of people at risk
  • Society’s attitude to moral obligations
